Both feeling drained today........saw some gorgeous architecture around madrid. Stunning rooftop views and had a gorgeous lunch. Went to art gallery and it was closing in 10 mins!!!! We haven't been too lucky with our timings here but both feeling knackered and agreed to have early night and find some energy for our adventure to continue in Seville tomorrow. Booked room from last minute.com and getting up really early so we can get there early. Worked out half our problem is arriving mid afternoon then gets dark so totally loose directions first day lol. Agree to spoil ourselves with a visit to the patisserie for coffee and cake nightcap. ........ €17 euros later we both agree we are a bad influence on each other lol bit of comfort food eating I think zzzzzzzzzzz
