Bonjour mes amies!

Monsieur et Madame are tres excited as they prepare to set off to Scotland early tomorrow morning. Watch this blog for pictures and updates of our adventures.

First stop Edinburgh for two nights with the lovely Sandy not seen since last year - it will be great to catch up.

Dont work too hard whilst we are away we will be thinking of you all!

We love the outdoors especially in France and we have had many happy times there. We love to travel but are quite unconventional in that we don't like hotels and posh restaurants or even restaurants really. We love to do our own thing and go off the beaten track wherever we go. We have had some great times doing just this and met some very nice people, especially our mate Sandy (otherwise known as the Edinburgh Landlady) who we met in the Lazy Duck hostel in Scotland.... full info

Where are you now then?
Sent you a text this evening, but maybe there's no signal up there. I thought you were going straight to Eigg? Had some lovely weather in St Andrews, and everything is so clean and clear. So many Americans though. Not so on the islands I imagine. Thinking of you both, and of the simple pleasures of walking in remote places in fresh air. Hope you are enjoying all that. Love Alex xx
