Edit Blog Post

I followed the same procedure as for the horse photo but unsuccessful this time and had run out of Blog time so will try again when i get some free(?) time.
Amanda and I did a tour of the Colloseum and surrounds which was really good. The guides were funny and informative and we got to jump the queue which is always a good thing especially in Rome where the cold wind and driving rain, all day, does nothing to thin the crowds, especially during Easter. We then walked through the city for a while then got one of the on/off tourist busses which was pretty full so we went upstairs (uncovered) which was hilarious at times, like when the umbrella blew inside out, ours and several others, and when Amanda gave up to head downstairs without unhooking her earphones. Combined with a very wet floor it made for an interesting exit. When i could breathe again i went downstairs too and we travelled back to our hotel and checked out places to go to today. We have lined up all the usual touristy ones like the Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps and an ATM. We also noticed some special looking eateries which we must try so we will be very busy today. The sun is out so looking forward to getting some photos that are not all dark and gloomy like yesterday's and to maybe even being able to put them on the blog so you can see how much fun we are having. ciao
