We arrived in Glasgow, Scotland early Sunday morning. We are currently six hours ahead of our family and friends back home. It seems like we lost all of Saturday night while in the air. Of course our room was not ready upon arrival, so off we went to explore a bit of Glasgow. It’s a beautiful older looking city & is the largest city in Scotland.
We met the other members of our group over a drink and dinner. There will be 42 of us together this week.

2019 / New Adventure We are creating this blog for family and friends to once again travel “with us” as we explore the beauty of both Scotland and Ireland. As we sat here trying to come up with a somewhat unique title - and we did have some fun ones - we settled on “Day Trippin’ Thru Scotland and Ireland”. (Maybe not too unique, but compared to a few of Jim’s suggestions, this will work). Oh, and this trip Jim won’t be behind the wheel ... & believe me he’s not used to this!!
