Our first and perhaps toughest challenge is everyone assembling at the airport!!! We are coming from many different places, but northern Rob wins when it comes from traveling, going from Newcastle to Amsterdam to Nairobi!!! The rest of us just have the 1 flight from Heathrow.
Welcome to our first blog!!!

A week tomorrow and we will be flying out to Nairobi! How time flies!!! Preparations are nearly completion (hopefully!) and excitement is growing. We have all raised money, got malaria tablets and had our arms used as pin cushions for numerous vaccinations. We've been reading about the exploits of another team in Botswana and its hitting home how close we are to going!

Thanks again to all those who have supported us through our fund raising exploits!

Hi Everyone!!! Through the charity Cricket Without Boundaries, we are embarking on a 2 week trip to Kenya. This charity aims to increase awareness of HIV and AIDS through sustainable cricket development and coaching. We are one of several trips taking place with other teams visiting Uganda and Rwanda. At the time of writing this we are just over a week away for our trip, the team for Botswana are already out there working hard (and hopefully enjoying themselves)!!
