Heading north toward my ferry crossing to Ireland, I had Thursday morning cocoa in colorful, upscale Aberaeron and reached Aberystwyth by noon. Is everything like a fairytale out there? Are there any ugly, trashy places? It's just all way too idyllic! Your Oceanfront place was amazing! It reminds me of where I stayed in the Algarve in Portugal. I could have lived there for the rest of my life and never moved from the balcony. So good luck on your travels. Sounds like a complicated and long journey to Ireland. May it go smoothly.

So far. so good! Smooth connections and ferry crossing, and I even made a delightful new friend, Eileen, who is 91 and full of beans! We hugged goodbye like family...? I’m on the final leg now (evening train from Dublin to Galway) - made an earlier train than anticipated! Yes, there is always an underbelly, but I’m staying focused on the positives, and how lucky I am to be seeing them!
