The Journey Begins!

Reading the paper the other day I came accross an article about new words that have been added to the English dictionary this year. We have been strugling to explain to people what we are actually doing, we are not taking a year out to go backpacking, we are not going to find jobs abroad, we just planned to give up work rent out the house and do something interesting with our lives.

Anyway the article has finally given us a word to discribe all this!

Protire def; If you are fed up with your job and retirement still seems many years ahead why not Protire. Instead of working away at a high presure job until you are in your 60s, make plans to protire by the age of 35. Drop that fast-track career and opt for something less stressful and more emotionally rewarding.

So there you have it we have protired!

So we arrived in Wales yesterday to our "tin tent" we'll get some photos of it to give you all a giggle! It may not be a palace but hey it is 10 steps up to the pub!
