We've had the most beautiful weather this week, and done lots of gardening and lawn mowing. One day Alex and I took a picnic - and a dog - to the local bluebell wood for an hour or two. We've been home 4 weeks today, and now we've tidied up a bit, it does feel more like home. We've both been filling in application forms for jobs, and today went to an "open day" to see if we could get anything. We shall see.

I can't believe how wonderful it all looks
I can't remember the wood or the bluebells or anything about your place - but I recognise the house - it looks so smart and nicely painted! I could live there............or visit??

you look very realistic with your weapon - I don't know if I could trust you weilding that sword!! Hope you enjoy the re-enactment battle and make sure your side wins!! Robyn

How much for the tractor?
No transport costs please!!! The house. veggie patch, garden, tree copse looks absolutely delightful - what a wonderful home - the bluebells in spring reminds me when I was a boy in the woods to the farm which is now Sussex University! Why was Alex cutting a path to the paddock?? lots of love Leigh

tractor price
sorry, didn't ask, but we couldn't help thinking of George. Yes, it does all look lovely at this time of year, and the beans and cougettes are in, and tomatoes in the sun room. and lettuces in the old fish tank (makes a great cold frame). We cut paths in the hay field so we can walk through it and look at the flowers - it really is spectacular in June, and I like to get amongst it. I DID have plans to cut the outline of Britain, but it got too complicated. Please do come and stay, we'd love it!

Fantastic photos
I am glad you have loaded the photos of your house and surrounds, it looks wonderful and so green!!! Can you put up some pics of the inside too please? I would love to see what the inside looks like. Is the Bluebell wood on your property or is it public land nearby??

hello sue
no, the bluebells are in woods nearby. There is public access, as there is to most forestry round here. The orchids are on my land, and I'm proud of them! Will do some interior photos soon. x
