mum's birthday

Today being Mum's 21st(!!!) birthday, we headed down to Meifod with freshly baked scones stuck with candles, to wish her all the best, and assist in eating any chocolates she needed help with! Later Lynda and I went on a treasure hunt and barbecue in the village - turned out to be more of a 4 mile walk and barbie, but that was fine. It was lovely.

Are you there?
well it is good to see that your Mum had a good feed for her birthday! Pity we were not there to share the chocolates!! I THOUGHT the birthday girl was spending the big day in Cornwall!! Maybe that is next week!! Hope our card and letter arrived safely. Love to all

your treasure hunt story reminded me of when aunty gwen and uncle roy were over visiting oma and grandad in the house that is now robyns. they made all us kids an easter egg hunt and sent us running all over the place :) nice photos! i hope aunty gwen enjoyed her birthday! is that maisie sneaking into the photos again??
