I knew this wasn't going to be the average trip away- well for us anyway. Electricity and heating were normally on the agenda for our holidays, but this stay was definitely different. We were heading to Wales, admittedly it doesn’t sound too much out of the ordinary, but it was our first experience of Glamping and spending a week in the middle of no-where. Wales was undiscovered territory for me, so I was looking forward to expanding my experiences; my parents were a little more apprehensive. After a short stop in Shrewsbury on our way down from York, we ventured deeper and deeper into Wales to Llandrindod Wells. The ratio of fields to houses was getting increasingly smaller, as the rolling hills lead the way through Powys- the occasional village dotted in the thick green landscape.
