To Northmavine

We said goodbye to our beautiful location above Lund beach and made our way via the two ferries and Yell island back to Mainland Shetland.

There was an oil patch at the front of the van when we moved off this morning but a very helpful garage in the town of Brae diagnosed it as diesel from a leak on the filter seal which was soon fixed.

We then entered the area of Northmavine via the narrow neck of land called Mavis Grind which separates the North Sea and Atlantic.



Our stop for the night was on a campsite in the small settlement of Breawick, where we had continuous rain for the first time on the trip.
