Glasgow, This is the biggest city in Scotland. But to me it is very simular to Toronto but just in a different country.

* Largest city in Scotland
* City Translation - city of dare
* Saw the area where the Canaidans won the world curling championships
* River clide goes throuhgh Glasgow
* Lots of ships built here, including QE2 ship was built here.
* Has 3 universities
* Armelido (conference centre) looks like opera house
* Shopping streets - Loucise st/Bucannan st/Socky hall st
* Underground subway since 1896 when 1st opened. Cost today .90 pence per ride or a day pass of 1.90. It goes in a circle.
* Central station main train station, other train station is Queen station
* Glasgow was bombed during WW2 some builings were the old building and some are the new ones
* Centre of banking at one time
*Website - seeglasgow.com

On my free day I ended up just walking all around Glasgow looking at the buildings as it has lots of old building mixed with modern buildings. Some of the building has really nice stone work, some where just so plain.
