How green can it get here
Just an idea of how wet things get here. Moss lines everything Driving and sight seeing is what I’ve been doing best lately and what today was mainly consisting of, besides a little shopping the day has been pretty busy at the wheel getting from A to B to Z. The trip from Fort William went from one extreme to another with clear sunny weather cruising the highlands along narrow twisty roads at quite high speeds... Which would seem to be quite fast to me but, with such well made roads was not excessive at all and I was only keeping up with the locals!. The view however so breath taking that I was forced to pull over quite frequently to take in a few photographs. Then finding myself amongst many other cars and trucks on busy three lane high ways in such a heavy down pour of rain that visibility was minimal only seemed to add to the exciting journey. Eventually the clock hinted it was time to look for a place to stay, so after a shopping around for accommodation the team and I found us a B&B in Carlisle. Just an idea of how wet things get here. Moss lines everything was used to spending 12 pounds for a bunk bed in a crowded room most often with no breakfast, the nice beds with TV kettle (tea, coffee chocolates and sweets) not to mention having an on suite. But the best inclusion into the deal would have to be the second B. Breakfast, which consisted of eggs bacon sausages tomato beans toast and a wide variety of cereals. For 20 pounds per person.
