Hi All 😊
Just a note to say we made it through the holidays away from home. We definately missed spending it with friends and family but also enjoyed the differences. The dance was great, it was just too bad it wasn't on all night. Just when I was getting up the nerve to try a traditional scottish dance "last song of the night" came over the mic! Shoot! oh well next time I'll try to learn same steps. Chatted most of the night with a friendly couple from Glasgow (David & Katherine) who offered a room when we are in the city next. Unfortunately I didn't get any pics since I forgot the camera. Here are some scenic ones though, from our many walks around the area. The restaurant is slowing down now but the Forest Rally is this weekend so it will be our first busy weekend of the new year. Dave won't be able to marshall since he has to work, but I'll get as many pictures as I can (just for you Adam).
We have however booked our trip in the spring for Barcelona, so now it's set in stone, Dave will see his Formula 1 race! It should be just an amazing exerience at the race as well as exploring the city from the famous pedestrian sidewalk Las Ramblas. Now we are adding up the ££ to see if we will jet away to ol' Paris for a few days over Valentine's since we have a week off then too. Can't wait to get some side trips in there before the rush of tourists starts.. the summer promises to be a very very busy at work. Which means lotsa ££, which is perfect for our plans. We also have a friend here that has property in Spain and is planning to move there semi-permanently soon. He has a lot of advice on olive picking in January- March (possibly next year) and nothing but praise for the laid back atmosphere of Spain.
Mull is as wet as ever, but yet still such a peaceful place. We took our weekly trip to Tobermory yesterday and Dave got a much needed haircut (pic to come). It was actually a decent day with rain not starting until the afternoon. Well better sign off for now, I'll write an update after the Rally, take care
Lotsa love Sarah & David

Hi Dave and Sarah! So nice to hear from you! You will have plenty of snow when you get back to Canada. The skiing is awesome from what I hear. Isabella is growing and now sits on her own. She has started to eat solid food and very much enjoys mealtime. Jolene and Tim are searching for a home however it is slim pickens in the housing market! Brad and Julie are doing well. Brad likes his job and Julie just passed the 1st part of her CFA (only 39% suceeded). Uncle Bob and I are going to Mexico in Feb. Your mom spotted a hot deal David, and we booked the trip immediately. Enjoy your vacation. We will look forward to more photos and dialogue. Love Auntie Jane
