Happy Christmas!Happy Christmas!Happy Christmas!

stupid paper hats...
Just a little holiday note from Dave and I 😊
Everything is going well here, the weather is still quite wet. Unusually wet we've been told, even for Mull. But we managed a great walk yesterday without getting soaked. There's a dirt trail that you can almost drive on the goes up the coast to Quinish Point. It's an amazing walk which I'm sure we'll do often. There will be pics coming of a beautiful rainbow we saw on the coast.
Christmas was grand, we had a Christmas goose with Nick & Debbie. It seems though that Christmas isn't as big as New Year's here so the real celebrations will be tomorrow. Tonight everyone will leave the pub and head to their homes around 11:00 for the ringing of the bells at midnight. Then everyone goes door to door sending best wishes to their nieghbors for the coming year. Tomorrow there is a huge dance at the town hall, which I'm determined to enjoy and get loads of pics since we won't be working! I'm hoping we don't miss too many of the coming events around the island since if the area is busy we will most likely be working and won't be able to be involved. Dave is going to do his best to be involved in the upcoming car rally. They are looking for marshalls so maybe if he can work part of the route close to home... It's a forest rally on January 20th, should be very exciting.
Our jobs in the Bellachroy are coming along well, we have had to adjust to a different procedures that aren't the norm at home. Working behind the bar is quite different for me but you take everthing with a grain of salt and there's never a dull moment. The area is really so breathtaking Dave and I are thinking we might take our pics and make up a calander for the locals when we finish our contracts. And we may need to get another Canadian flag sent this way since Oakey has his mind set on buying ours (we have it hanging up in the window of our caravan). He says it's the most beautiful flag he's ever seen.
Right now we're actually trying to decide where we want to go for a weeks holiday. We get 4 weeks paid vacation in the year and it's just eaiser to take

the time now when it's quieter. Dave wants to go back to calgary for his vacation 😉 not me, for me there are too many places to choose from and never enough ££ ($$)!
