Events as it tranpsired by Spencer: The day started off with an early wake up call at 7:00 am with Mr. Cupid knocking on my door, speaking in Spanish, "Buenos dias señor!". He knocks until I answer my door. "Wakey wakey" and then asks "chicken or fish?". I reply "chicken". He then asks, "white bread or whole wheat?". I'm trying to eat healthy so reply "whole wheat". Ciao! Toronto All Stars Steel Orchestra (TASSO) is touring Italy! Since the beginning of this year, TASSO has been preparing for our 2023 trip to Italy where we will be performing in Tuscany, Cremona, Mondaino, Todi and Roma. We are very excited and feel privileged to be representing Canada once again on the world stage. Thanks so much to whoever ( whomever? ) is posting these blogs, especially at such a late hour. As a parent who misses my children so much, it is such a joy to be able to not only see them in these photos but to also keep up with the entire band's exploits on a daily basis. I definitely feel as if I am living this trip vicariously through all of you. Scotland looks as if it is just one amazing historic site after another and is so beautiful to boot. I have never before wished so much that I could have gone on a trip such as this one. Continued safe travels to all of you. Sincerely, Howard Chelin
