Really cold right now, end of big walk along cliffs lots of looking where your stepping!
Hey guys!! Just finished my little couple of days in Aberdeen, was good to get out of Edinburgh and feel like a bit of a tourist again. Spent a couple of nights with Brenden and Maree, Geoffs mate from school in Gladstone so was a good connection to have!! Got here monday night on Megabus, (4hrs but only £8, really cheap) and was going through snow!! Will post the pictures up soon but on Tuesday there were periods of thick snow and periods of beautiful sunshine. We went inland for a bit and climbed a bit of a track to the top, got stuck up there with about a miniute blizzard and very windy, then made it back down the mountain trying to avoid the holes you couldn't see because of the whole, but everyone knows what im like when it comes to slipping over! Had a bit of lunch, but then it started to snow again so headed back in the car for a drive around some really pretty little towns. Went past Balmoral Estate, didnt really look like anything special because everything just looked so picturesk with the sugar coating of snow. Went out for tea that night

Had just stopped after a walk up the hill and half way through sandwich when snow strikes. Snow flake shades out Brenden, but feel free to put your face here!
an had some italian. The little buildings in Aberdeen are all this king of granite colour, and still really old infrastructure. Got up and had another walk to the south around some cliffs to a castle (will think of all the names when i get home and see a map i think, Stonehaven I believe) Really nice day today but the last two have been absolute freezing, yesterday the car thermo said it was -4 degrees outside, and because of the wind, it was that cold that I really couldnt even feel my ass. A great break away from work, heading back tonight. B & Ms place is great, absolute heaven of a shower, compared to what i am having feel so refreshed and clean. I could go on about the shower but prob not the most exciting thing. Herd lots about the oil rig industry sounds pretty amazing that people can live out that far for 2-4 weeks at a time. Also heard some Irish History from the guys so was quite a good trip all in all. Alright, a month of work to go, starting a bit of a countdown, but i think im going to be a
