A 6.45 start from home saw us driving 125 miles northward to a campsite outside Hebden Bridge in Yorkshire where we met up with some fellow Murvi Motorhome owners who were coming to the end of a four day get together. We arrived early enough to join them on a very pleasant seven mile walk on the local moors. Part of the route followed the Pennine Way along an escarpment where we visited Stoodley Pike, a huge monument erected to commemorate the Country’s victory in the Napoleonic Wars.
In the evening, we all visited a local hostelry for a delicious dinner.
