Gayush on the phone
Nothing new Yerevan, LA, London she is still on the phone Day 5 Tuesday I got up late this morning. But that didn’t stop me. I was determined to see a friend of mine which I haven’t seen in a year. In fact the last time I saw her was when I was in Armenia. So we met up for lunch. Had Chinese food at this place called Fung Shing. Then we were off walking around Central London. A mutual friend of ours was at the University she had class so we went and picked her up. While waiting for a homeless person came and offered me a kiss, we were laughing at him. Then he said I need a pound to goto the hostile, I said here is 2 stay there, don’t ever leave. We picked up our friend and we were off to their flat in Covent Garden. I hung out there for awhile; they got ready as they had some sort of function to go to. And then we hit the streets again. We parted ways, I continued to walk and they got on the underground. I eventually got on the underground and was off to Acton. I got home talked to Armineh a little, changed and we
were off to Navasartian Hall for the meeting. Tonights topic was Parliamentary procedures in Armenian. It went well, at least I think it did. After wards there was a little get together, Armenian Moms and good food come hand in hand. So we munched a little. When all were gone we got up to leave, I said where are we going. Out? Response sure again why not? Then we had people change their minds only to change them back once again. Today we had 2 cars and we were off to a venture to the city. They London-ites decided to change the location. We passed Westminister Abby and the lone protestor who lost his appeal to protest Parliament. (FYI: He has been protesting the British Parliament since the start of the latest Iraqi War.) Big Ben, Parliament and now we where at the Thames River. WE drove along side it. Mind you Armineh, (driving) Ojik and I were in one car, Angel, Ovsig and Huby in another car. We were following them. Lets just say it was an interesting Drive, Angel Almost killed us way of Dump Truck and Taxi, and the list goes on. So then they saw a
Get me out of that Car
Angel was driving a little Scarry sign bar open. It was a boat that had become stationary at the Thames. So they sent Huby and I out to check there was a huge Sign Bar open. Well guess iwhat it wasn’t open. Serves me right listening to people who don't go out regularly on where to go.
FYI Angel has now run a couple red lights if not many. I wonder how many cameras have her passing red lights.
I now was in Angel’s car Help me.
Well they were a little disappointed I said we can go to the same place as last night. And we were off. Oh wait the London-ites didn’t know where they were going. Angel was trying to make a U-turn Ovsig stopped her and she drove on the wrong side of the road which for us would be the correct side. As looked out the rear window Armineh had her face buried in the Steering Wheel and Ojik had her eyes covered. We could go right which was the correct way to go to Trafalgar Square, we turned left and in doing so we passed Parliament for the 3rd time of the night, at which time I took
advantage of the comotion of going in the wrong direction and yelled at the lone protestor.
And then I told them that Trafalgar square is behind us. So we were off. (yes, someone from LA is telling Brits how to get around town) The bouncer and the Bar tender remembered me from the night before. We sat down ordered drinks and just started laughing about out near death experience of either riding with or following Angel. Prior to getting to the Bar Huby and I looked back and Armineh had her face buried in the steering wheel and Ojik had covered her eyes. The bouncer stopped a drunk couple from dancing and then came to me and said no dancing. I was laughing at them. So we got up since it was 1:30 and people had to go to work. The Bouncer said see you tomorrow night I said why not. On the way home we got lost, but found our way. Angel Ovsig and Huby got lost even worse, and the problem here is that Ovsig knows the roads extremely well and wasn't being listened to. I haven’t laughed this hard in a long time.
