Over the Atlantic and into London
A little choppy in spots

5 AM Breakfast is being served…pancakes and sausage. Of course we didn’t sleep…due into London at 7:20

We arrived at 12 noon and fooled around in queues until almost 3. Our tour guide, Henry met us and took us to the hotel…Harewood. We are across from the Marylebone Station.

We zipped uptown on the subway to Piccadilly Circus to look around. Ate later at a pub and walked around Regency Park, the Embassy etc.

PLACE: Airplane & London (Harewood)
Weather: Good

The sun came up about 4:00 am our time. Arrived at 7:00 AM London time. Very hectic making connections. We came through the airport on a moving sidewalk and that was nice. Airport was crowded. Got our currency changed to British money. After wait in bus, got to Harewood Hotel in Westminster (London).

Arrived at hotel at 2:45 PM and have a very nice new room. Plumbing is weird though. No ice practically anywhere. Rode the subway (cost 10 pence) to Piccadilly Circus and was great. Came straight

Breakfast aboard 747 (with champagne, no less). Nice flight over the Atlantic. Nell, Patty, and Dianne.
back for a meeting. Evening is free. For dinner, ate sandwich (weird). Mother had kidney pie. Before dinner, we walked all over; saw a lot and it was great. Sacked out about 9:00 PM. Boy was I tired.
