England in November is a bit wet, but our stay was anything but dreary. Sarah and Jamie are full of silliness and stories besides being parents of two rambunctious girls. Sarah cooked delicious English cuisine, though it looked a little funny when Sam tried to help with a meal. Hannah and Pippi offered more than enough sunshine on a cloudy day. Not only were they adorable, but they had the most endearing little English accents. We went to a few little pubs and drank what tasted like flat beer to our American palate. Sam and I also ventured on a bike ride with our host’s bicycles on some ridiculously narrow roads to a slightly bigger town nearby. This would be the beginning of many perilous road journeys in our travels. We went to Cathedrals in Lincoln and took a Jack the Ripper walking tour in London. It was so wonderful to get to know this scandalous English side of Sam’s family. Can’t wait to see them in the States. Hi Jamie and Sarah!
