2- 13 August 2018

In what turned out to be our last trip in our original van and in the continuing hot and sunny weather of this magnificent summer, we spent a couple of days with our friends, Richard and Gill, who live in the village of Cargreen on the Cornish bank of the River Tamar; spent a week relaxing, surfing and walking at Treago Farm, Crantock, our favourite Cornish campsite; visited our Murvi Club friends, Mike and Sylvia, at their beautifully situated coastal holiday lodge outside Tintagel; and finally visited my sister Ruth who lives in Weymouth.

While we were in Cornwall, Rex Kneebone, the managing director of Murvi, rang to say our new van was nearing completion and that it would be ready for collection during week beginning 20 August. This was when we hoped it would arrive, but earlier than we expected, so we will now be able to go on our planned six week Autumn tour of France and Italy.

The excitement is mounting!
