A little over a week ago we took delivery of our Home from Home. All week we’ve been fettling and furkling, make things just right for life on the road. There’s still a few tweaks but to coincide with avoiding the mayhem of the Royal Wedding, we set sail, or set wheels, and drive off into the sunset.
Long story short, we ended up in the villages of Penn. Not too far from home but far enough to learn many lessons. Plan a route, well! Know we’re you want to end up. Don’t rely on luck to park toubup in a nice secluded church car park in a beautiful village with a cracking pub on the green just a few hundred yards away. Well it seems Lady Luck was on board today.
This is our pitch for the next few days, practicing and testing the systems. That’s the important bit. Driving this beast is an experience but we’ve made a great team today. Narrow lanes, busy roundabouts and low trees. We’ve got through it all had a giggle too.
The Dogs are out for the count and now that’s it for us too.
Nite nite folks. Thanks
for reading. We’ll keep you posted....
