I am so so happy I am in Chichester. There is something about this place that makes me feel like I'm home again. I have spent many days and many nights in Chi, and whenever I am back in this town, I can't help but smile. =) I have many friends here, many of whom I consider my second family.
I am currently staying with my friend Jody and her roommate Giles (both who are awesome). I took the train from London and made my way to Chichester, which brought back many memories of what I used to do often back when I was living in the UK. She picked me up and we headed straight to the Chichester canal. I had no idea a canal existed in this town! It was quite nice as the sun was peaking through the clouds and all you can see is the English countryside. Following our little adventure, we got dolled up and went out to grab some dinner at Carluccio's in the city centre. For those who know me, you know I can EAT! I have one of the biggest appetites around, but for some reason, I haven't been eating! I barely

Indian curry touched my pasta and I was so disappointed 😞 Regardless, I had great company!
Friday, April 13th was a fun-filled day. I had a cream tea for breakfast at Denman's Garden with Jody with a yummy scone topped with clotted cream and jam. With the extra fat intake, we decided to head to the gym and do a bit of swimming. Although, the plan was to swim, we mostly just sat in the sauna and steam room, relaxing and chatting. We met some blokes from Newcastle and I've come to the conclusion, I cannot understand a word they're saying! We went straight to Alistair's from there to say hello and meet with Russell for a curry dinner (which I've been craving since I landed). We chatted til about 8pm and went over to the new Indian restaurant in Westergate and kidnapped Dr. Roy as well. Yummy food, great conversation, great company...what more could you ask for?
Today is my last day here in Chi and I needed to make sure I saw Mummy Pat. I had Ali drive me over to say hello and it was so lovely. I love her to bits! She showed me her garden,
which makes me wish I had an English cottage with an English garden so I can grow some fruits and vegetables! It just seems so much easier to garden in England than in LA!
We then made plans to have dinner in Portsmouth aka Pompey with Jody, her boyfriend, and Dave. We went to have a drink at a local pub and then onto a tapas restaurant. It was quite tasty, but what I'm most proud of is the simple fact that I've been able to hold my alcohol. Instead of 1 drink, I can now officially drink 2! 😊
Tomorrow is D-day and I have to fly out of London to Amsterdam and will be driven to the airport thanks to Russell. I just wish I made my trip in the UK longer as I feel I didnt have enough time to say hello to my friends 😞 I don't want to leave and I just want to be able to work and find a job here. If there is any way I could move to Chi, I would! I don't know why I love it here so much, but I do and it makes me so
sad I'm leaving 😞 I will be back....
PS. I think this is the most tea I've ever drank from all my visits to the UK. I think I literally drank tea every 2 hours!
