This was just some of the dance floor. Saturdays HIGH- Finding shoes!!
Saturdays LOW- Realizing the price was wrong and finding out they were $70!
Sundays HIGH- Watching the football (soccer) game at the Union.
Sundays LOW- Finding out the Patriots lost.
Mondays HIGH- World Banana.
Mondays LOW- Thinking about my major and realizing that none of my classes have anything to do with Event and Wedding Planning.
So Saturday I went to Birmingham for the afternoon. I caught the bus from campus to the train station to find out that the rail station wasnt running trains until Monday. They had busses to replace the trains, so I waited for one of those. I think it was cheaper which was worth an extra 25 mins there and back. So I got in to Birmingham and went to a TJMaxx, it was so weird seeing a British American store. Then I went into the mall, it was huge!!! However, it was soooooo crowded, like more than it is at home around the holidays. I needed to find shoes, make-up, and a charger without the stupid ring so I can plug chargers in. It took me forever just to find the make-up. They didnt have any cosmetics stores, but they

Me doing "the guns". PS...I had no idea my nose was THIS big! had these huge department stores. The two I looked in were Debenhams and another one that I cant remember the name of. They were like Macy's, but nicer and more expensive. They looked all futuristic inside, and from the escalators you could see the 4 floors. There were sections for Gucci, Prada, etc. and there was also a food part with gourmet things and a Krispy Kreme. I looked around those stores for a while in awe of everything. Stuff is just so expensive that its not practical to buy something unless you really need it. So I found makeup in Debenhams ($34) and continued my search for shoes. In America Im a 10-11, so here, that makes me a 9. Well NO ONE carries a size 9, they all go up to 8. I must have looked in 15 shoe stores before I finally found one with a 'tall' section. I was sooooo excited to find shoes that fit me and that I actually liked. I found them in the regular section and they were $50, so I didnt think that was too bad. When I got to the register I found out they were actually $70. I didnt

Myself, Jonny, and Chris dancing the night away. know you had to pay more for having bigger feet, but I was desperate and had run out of options, so I had to get them. I also found a really cute iPod case for $5 thats all glittery and will keep my iPod safe when I travel. I also got a phone charm for $6 which I absolutely love. The mall was like the ones at home, it just looked fancier. Outside there was this huge building filled with different vendors, some fish and meat vendors too, so it smelled horrible. But I found the plug adapter there and the man cut the ring off the outside so I can finally plug my speakers. I also got a potato masher because the girl who I replaced took hers with her ande weve had to mash potatos with spoons and wisks. However, when I got back, I found out that the boys bought one!! Erg. Anyways, there was also this huge cathedral outside, it was really nice, so I took a couple pictures. After a few hours I was exhausted so I went back out to catch the bus to Coventry. Then I waited outside for like 30 mins in

Jonny and I. Im not quite sure why I look so crazed. the cold to catch the next bus to campus. When I got back, we all had chinese and just chilled. We watch more of Peep Show, that show is hilarious. I finally passed out at like 4.
On Sunday, I went to watch the football game at Rootes and then the Union. People werent as rowdy as we are during sports in America. But there was a bar, so I was watching 18 year olds drink in the middle of the afternoon, so weird. The team that my friends were rooting for lost, and they were soooo mad, Jonny walked out. After the game I attempted to get work done at the library, but none of the books I needed were in, and the cider I had made me really tired, so I came back and layed down till dinner. We all just sat around and talked for the rest of the night. I couldnt fall asleep till about 5 and had to get up super early, which sucked.
Yesterday was a long day, most of my classes are on Mondays. I had one from 10-11, 11-12, a meeting from 12-1, a class from 1-2, and then one

Some more of the dance floor. The stage is in the back. from 2-3. As I sat through psyc I started thinking more about my major and how sick I am of explaining myself everytime I tell people what I want to do. I thought about switching to being a communications major until I talked to mom and took her advice to just stay put. She said that individualizing my major will actually be an advantage. I just want to be taken seriously, I wish I was decisive, life would be easier. Anyways, I chilled until dinner and then the festivities began. Mondays are big here, and we all were planning on going to World Banana at the Union. So we all sat around and had some drinks (Im not going to say how many) and then got ready and went. It was sooooo much fun!!! We all sung old school show songs like Saved By the Bell and California Dreams all the way there. OMG, what a good night. I attached some pictures of the night. There were so many people so it was really crowded, but sooooo much fun. I really like my flatmates and am really happy to be getting to know them better. When it was done at

Daniel and Melissa...neither quite sober. 1am, we headed back, it was freezing. There were these really drunk kids in our hallway on the groud, weird. One of the supervisors came down to tell them to be quiet...they barely listened. I called Olivia, and Jonny talked to her, it was hilarious. She was so confused. But finally I came back to my room and passed out. I woke up at like 10am feeling the night before, yikes. So I went back to sleep until like 2. Ive still felt a little off since then, but at least my headache is dissapating.
