Glasto 2007
The boys' new doo's We already decided that there was only one festival we would go to this year and that would be Glastonbury. If we couldn’t get tickets, we weren’t doing any. Luckily for us, Baz’s work has super speedy internet access and he managed to secure our tickets and 16 of our mates. So we were off again! And this time, much better prepared. All the camping gear, plus baby wipes, plus Sanex, plus GUMBOOTS. I have never been happier to own and be wearing a pair of shoes. These babies saved me. And I think Bazza was definitely glad he didn’t rely on positive thinking this year.
Glasto didn’t fail to live up to it’s reputation. Baz's mohawk also had a better idea of which areas we liked better so knew straight where to head.
So, who did we see….Amy Winehouse, Bloc Party, The Magic Numbers, Bjork, The Kooks, Klaxons, Biffy Clyro, The Long Blondes, James Morrison, Shirley Bassy, Manic Street Preachers, The Chemical Brothers, Fat Freddy’s Drop, The Madness, my highlight The Cat Empire and I’m pretty sure we saw more, but I honestly can’t remember.
It was wet, it was windy, it was muddy, it was Freezing, but we had an awesome time and we’re pretty sure that if we’re lucky enough to get tickets again, we’ll be there!
