Us in Crete
Just practising We were relieved that we had decided not to set off on Tuesday with British Airways in view of the radiation scare. We have opted to go Quantas, maybe in the mistaken belief that they are a better airline anyway. The last time we went long haul on British Airways, we were not too happy.
At the moment we are racking our brains on what are the best things to take to wear. Not having done a cruise before we are sure to take all the wrong things, but we will cram the suitcase with as much as we can get in, just in case.
As we didn't bother doing too much research when we booked, we were completely unaware that we would be doing this cruise in the middle of the monsoon season, so perhaps we should be taking raincoats and wellies!
As it's going to be extremely hot, we will perhaps just take umbrellas (with other clothes of course) to be on the safe side.
We will arrive in Singapore on Wednesday morning next week - 6th December -quite early in the morning, and will try to to some sort of update during the day. We will be spending the whole day in Singapore before setting sail in the evening on route for Sarawak. We arrive in Kuching, the capital of Sarawak, early in the morning on 8th December.
So, folks, that's all for now, as we are reasonably busy until we set off.
We are not promising to load any photographs from the boat, as we are not too sure that we know how! Really depends how up to date their computers are
