Wow.... Its been just great reading your blogs and you conjure up such pictures in my mind with your descriptions... it all sounds like an amazing, amazing trip and I bet you will be sorry that it will be ending.
Cannot wait to see the photos, despite you blaming yaks, banyan trees, or whatever is passing, getting in the way of a good shot!!
Looking forward to seeing you on 27th!!
Big hugs Wend et al
Hello Dear Uncle Mike and Aunty Pauline,
I am glad you are having a lovely time away on your trip, and I wish I could be there with you!
See you boxing day!!
Lots of love from Ceara xxxxx
sticky rice - sticky weather So glad you are both enjoying your Eastern adventure. It's great when things don't go exactly to the plan and you get a bonus day, I'm glad you've both got sea legs - rather you than me! Keep your eyes open for the Mekong Wagtail - it's a top bird! Did you bump into Kate Aidie at the Hotel Rex? Looking forward to the next blogcast.
drummer I'm pretty sure this famous Polish drummer you're talking about is Igor Falecki. Look at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fE_PFpWPQ5Y
Fabulous!
Your story about scooters and crossing the street and hectic traffic reminds us of Thailand! It's Asia man! Have a nice time.

Thanks for the support Just about to add the latest entry, and they have given us free internet today, so am taking the opportunity of responding personally. Don't forget to read the latest
Stormy Weather Your travel blogs are just fab and we are enjoying them enormously! Got caught myself in a mini-hurricane in Trowbridge Park last Thursday so I think your captain is doing the right thing and avoiding it!
All is well here.... hope you continue safe on your journey.
Big hugs Wend and the gang x
who's afraid? Come on captain! Who's afraid of force 13 winds!?
Why don't you put the captain overboard Michael and do it yourself?
Ho Chi Minh has 6 million people, a mix of Vietnamese, Chinese (Hao)and Khmer Krom and some other. I think it's enough!
Has a nice time there, Salut Frans
nothing special glad you're still enjoying yourselves, even in the middle of such rough weather. not much sunshine out there now, I suppose. well, you'll be entertained on board, I'm sure. And it will give you time to do some fitnessing:-)
Maybe the trip you're skipping now will be done later?
Here is brilliant sunshine, no hurricane, but rather cold. I really don't know which I prefer. But I do know we both think a lot about Thailand!
Love, till later.

Where are you? Perhaps stuck in the dining room with no door big enough to escape.
Perhaps on top of an elephant with no means of escape,
Or lulled to sleep by mermaids in paradise - hope it's one of these.
bon voyage! I'm sure you'll have a wonderful time and the rain will probably be very refreshing! Enjoy ... and we'll look forward to the next instalment ... Love Julia xx
first comment I am the first!!!
Don't you have an internet possibility on the ship? I thought this was a very luxurious cruise!!
Anyway I hope your flight was as expected and not some BA clone.
Have fun.
Love Scarlett
sailing away hi folks, I wish you a very nice and warm journey with lots of rain since you brought all these clothes and other stuff not for nothing!
Hope to see you soon again on travelblog and if possible with pic's please! :-)
Love Frans xxx
We are just getting ready to go on our first cruise. We are going on the Spirit of Adventure with another 350 souls, and will be visiting various ports of call in the Far East.
On 5th December we fly from Heathrow to Singapore, where we will join the ship. We are hoping to have time to sip a few Singapore Slings at Raffles hotel before we set off. The ship is kitted out with computers, so we should be able to update our blog after each port of call... full info
