Brief History of Time . . .
Today we should have an interesting day . . . Yesterday had a lecture in one of tallest spires of Oxford and of course later climbed to the top. But this posting is all about pictures. My boat didn't row on to Summer Eights this week but chch (Christ Church) still has 4 boats . . . Saturday will determine it all -- blades of glory or blades of grass?

Notably, this week took two day trips, one to Cambridge, one to Hampton Court. In Cambridge, was in awe of the folios in Trinity College's library and the chapel at King's College. Spend loads of time in the library, on buses reading, or typing away at the untypable paper. Service and working on Sunday; tute & library, then hall dinner Monday; Cambridge & hall dinner Tuesday; Hampton Court & then Worcester evensong on Wednesday; lecture, libraries, bible study, summer eights, & focus group on Thursday - where does the time go? It goes away, untouchable. But memory - which someone (Hume maybe) said was a less poignant, less real impression remains. Prodded along by photos.

Not pictures, which we discovered are painted in England but not snapped.

The screen by the organ divided this huge church and was again a Henry VIII addition.
