Freshers Fayre

Today was the beginning of Week One which is Freshers, or first years, week. Freshers Fayre is where all of the university's societies and clubs have booths set up down by the Sports Centre and the freshers come and see all the different societies and sign up for the ones they would like to join. If you have been to the Minnesota State Fair and inside Merchandise Mart or the Food Building you know how crowded it is. At Freshers Fayre it is that crowded and more. There was every society from chess to cheese to skydiving. I signed up for Track, The American Society, Book Club, and Living History. I am really excited about the Living History Society. They go around and put on shows and in between they learn how to make their own mail and clothing like it was a long time ago. I can't wait!!
