This is being done in retrospect as we did not have the cob-on to do things like this before we left!! We left from East Midlands airport going to Prague. This flight was the only thing we had booked before leaving. Other preparation we had done inc all relevant jabs, saving up money, buying the lonely planets (though not really reading them!), Belarus, Russia, Mongolia and Chinese visas (which were a pain in the arse), photocopying everything, buying a bag, sandals, medi kit, raincoat, sewing kit (?) and that was about it!!
