What the! Dad?! Your meant to back home not in Manchester! He had decided to come and meet us at the train station (great grey cell work to get the timing) and surprise us, and he did! So we all caught the train to a little town called Parbold in between Manchester & Liverpool. We stayed with one of mum & dad’s friend’s Mary (really great lady). Mary was so good she took us on tours of the surrounding areas, to Wigan pier & museum, the Liverpool docks, to meet friends that took us on hikes around the country side & out to dinner parties at her friends and families houses, all top people.
