giant castle + hard hike = good time

Get into Dover, amazing views of the ocean and the famous white cliffs. Walked to the downtown core of Dover to the tourist info. Got maps and directions to the YHA hostel and also the dover castle. Met some americans from somewhere I can't remember, the one guy looked like 30ish but was only 21 haha. Since the hostel was closed that afternooon we took our full backpacks and hiked up to the castle. Step after step, took over an hour. Good exercise for sure. Toured around the castle, very cool, ended it with a tour of the secret underground wartime tunnels. Blazing hot we headed back down to the hostel. This hostel was very nice but had one setback, there was no one there! There was only like 4-6 of us total that night, major bummer.
