Our taxi arrived on time but we hit heavy traffic on our way to our planned train station. The taxi driver took us to a different train station to avoid further delays. From there we caught a train to Paris where we then caught the metro to the Eurostar station which will take us to London.
The train ride through the Chunnel was actually quite boring! When we arrived at St. Pancras train station in London we said our sad goodbyes to Sonya who was off on a walking trip through the Cotswold area of England. We have enjoyed a wonderful eight weeks together.
We headed to our hotel and got settled in there before going for a walk. The weather was cool but not raining. We stopped at a corner pub for a drink before returning to our hotel. Later in the evening we went out for Indian food.
