So it's off we go and start our walk from Tottenham court road to bethnal green. We take the embankment route and head east and the south to London bridge where the impressive shard is. At £30 a ticket for a ride to the viewing deck we decline the overpriced tag.
next we head back north towards Liverpool street where we can now see the newer skyline of the city, taking in the infamous car melting walkie talkie building and the cheese grater. From here we head eastbound agin and into Columbia road and then bethnal green.
Our feet are now tired so it's time for a beer at one of our old haunts. One beer down and a rather large rat lead to our departure back west on the tube to Liverpool street where we have yet another couple at Hamilton hall and wait for Karen and Ben.
a few spots of rain drive us back and forth for cover and then it's off to brick lane for a curry.
wow how this place has changed in 14 years. A great night out and a bloody fantastic curry before it's time once again to say our goodbyes.
