So we are back where we started.... same hostel and everything. That made it really easy, we didnt have to work hard to figure out where it was. Only difference this time was I didnt have the stupid Rotovirus.. not food poisoning apparently which was pointed out to me. 😊 We made it to our hostel just in time for the second half of the England vs. Portugal game... which was my entire goal for the day. Conveniently there is a pub attached to our hostel so we went there and it was packed. Im not much of a soccer fan, but just being there with everyone, especially since the English are so nuts about it, makes it soo much fun to watch. They have so many different songs they sing and cheers, got some good video of that. But we didnt realize just HOW obsessed England is with soccer. When one player got a red card, the girl next to me started crying, and when England actually LOST..... wow. Everyone was crying, heads on the table and everything. It started to get a little awkward so I had to leave. Heidi and I didnt do much the rest of the night... found a guy at our hostel who knew where a Borders Books was so we followed him there. I cant tell you how valuable a book is on this trip... there is a lot of down time, especially when you are on trains and just trying to give your body a break. Anyway... today we took our time waking up and jumped on one of the city tour buses around London. It was so nice to see the sights, not have to walk around in the heat (yeah it was actually hot in London today... thats odd) and we could jump on and off as we pleased. We got off at Buckingham Palace, took some pics, had some ice cream in St James Park, walked past the Parliament Buildings, Big Ben and Westminster Abbey. Then jumped back on the bus and went to the Oxford Circus where there was A LOT of shopping to do. Then we just took the bus back to our hostel, ate at the pub and now here I am on the internet... and Spice Girls just came on in the back ground... how appropriate. So this was the last official day of our trip, Im glad we spent it in London. There is so much history here and we learned a lot from the bus tour with our little head phones on. 😊 Tomorrow we fly home. Pictures arent working again, so i might have to wait a few days until I get home and can put them up, some of them are amazing! But thats all for now, one more blog and thats it!!! Ahhh sad... I know you are all going to miss me 😊
