The sign from Centrale for the train to Torino. Got a ticket and hopped on. The self-ticket booths inside the train station make buying tickets easy and fast. Who knew after looking at TrenItalia's website?

On top of this hill is a Capuchin convent finished in 1656. The view is supposed to be amazing, but, alas, I did not trek up it. Next time!
Corso CairoliCorso Cairoli
Corso Cairoli

This is an avenue that follows the Po River and has a fascinating lining of trees. They looked strangely skeletal in March but I am sure they look wonderful with some foilage.

Everyone loved to sit in the Piazza. From the old folks to the young lovers, who got really, really close. Gross close. They started really making out after this picture (though, I am sure, it was not just for the camera).

The Museum of Decorative Arts was in a passage off the Via Po. I got a quick shot as we walked by.

The Via Po, which runs from the Po River toward the center of Torino, is a covered walkway on each half of the sidewalk, filled with all sorts of stores and cafes.

There is fascinating tower that you catch glimpses of as you walk through Torino. I wanted to find it.

Oooh, too close! I finally found the source of the Tower. It is actually the Mole Antonelliana National Cinema Museum (Museo Nazionale del Cinema Mole Antonelliana), found on the Via Montebello.
