Here are some photo's of the place Heath and I moved into in Earls Court. Earls Court itself is traditionally where alot of antipoedans move into ie, all the aussies, sth africans and kiwis. Its a major tube station which means we have quick access to the city and fantastic connections to all parts of London. Its mainly one long street - Earls Court Road, with lots of travellers needs, cafes and small shops. Within a 5minute walk is High Street Kensington where loads of clothes retailers are. Also within easy walking distance is Kensington Palace, Hyde Park, Harrods, National History Museum and Royal Albert Hall. So its a pretty cool area within zone 1.
Our place is in a restored Victorian terrace, we are on the top floor in the original loft which has been converted into a two bedroom flat. There are 75 stairs winding up a narrow staircase, so its been very good for the butt!! Since August Liani has moved in and more recently Luke arrived and moved into the loungeroom!! So for the past few weeks it has been a fairly busy little house!! Luke has now gone off to travel parts of Europe on his great architecture tour, but will be back mid November, when the four of us will probably move into a bigger place just south of Earls Court. The place itself has been renovated and has proved to be a good base for all of us. I am the only one who really has to travel, both Heath and Liani work 20min away while the job Luke has half lined up isnt far either. I would much rather stay here and travel than move out closer to my work as its not so nice an area. More soon....
