it's really not that heavy...
hey everyone!
crazy week again. went out to the pub a few times last week, karaoke night was a blast but im not too sure the brits appreciated it....saturday we went to stonehenge and bath with my british life and culture class. we got so lucky, rain in kingston but a gorgeous day at stonehenge! it's crazy to imagine how all those ridiculously heavy stones got there. i'm sticking with the theory of aliens. or the ice age made it easier to slide them accross. take your pick. we spent an hour there, then went on the bath, the city of Jane Austen! Unfortunately we didn't have time to go to the jane austen museum which i really wanted to do but it's only a 2 hour drive so i'm gonna try and make it back there soon. Bath was a beautiful city, we went to the Roman Springs with the mineral water(i didn't try it, having it in karlevary, czech republic was enough for me) but it was so cool to see, there's a whole museum built around them. we saw this long circle of houses (you'll see this all for yourself in the pics) but i can't remember the

names...there's one street with a funny story, each door is different bright color because the houses all look so similar men would stumble home drunk to the wrong wife...! we stopped in a pub called the lion and lamb and watched some football, manchester versus liverpool i think? i tried to pay attention, really. had some fish and chips and guinness, it was lovely. then i ran(literally) to catch the train to sheen so i could babysit some adorable but naughty boys who seriously ignored their bedtime. uncle john was nice enough to bring me over some pizza though, didn't even have to pay a delivery fee. then i crashed at uncle johns, woke up with a horrible cold and went w/uncle john and aunty annette to brighton, where it was cold and rainy so we just drove around the beautiful countryside for a bit and went out to an amazing lunch. i just don't get vegetarians. all 5 of us ordered the steak. deeeelish. oh and last week i cooked for my girlfriends, all 6 of us, some good ole english shepherds pie! i somehow used every pot in the kitchen, but it was worth it. i made those

cupcakes that look like ice cream too cause theyre in ice cream cones, super cute. this week im takin it easy cause this cold is seriously weighing me down, but then julia and kristen will be here next weekend from seville! sooo excited. about to go do some food shopping, i'm a tiny bit sick of peanut butter(im out of bread) and ....welll just peanut butter really. haha uncle john and aunty annette have been very good at always feeding me though, and we had a very nice time w/camilla and johnny yesterday. will update again very soon, missing you all...! oh and dont tell tiger but i've coaxed tippy(the cat) into sleeping with me sometimes. makes me feel at home <3 love you guys, lots of hugs n kisses.
