Lovely organic produce. Today is my third day here in Forest Row. I have had a couple of days to rest and recover from the little jet lag I had been feeling and I now feel better settled in and a bit more like myself again. So today feels like a good day to start my little blog to keep everyone up to date on my adventures. I'm not sure how long this will last. I'm not like my amazing storyteller friend Rachel who blogged beautifully for six months and if I even try to compare my writing to her I feel almost illiterate. However I will do my best to write little bits and pieces along my journey and hope that my entries will suffice.
I arrived in London on the 2nd June after a long flight. There was only two hiccups along the way:
1. Helsinki security taking away my clinique moisturiser that both Sydney and Singapore had no problem with.
2. My plane from Helsinki to London was delayed 40minutes due to packing issues with luggage that throws out the balance of the plane.
In Singapore airport I had a lovely surprise. I was walking around looking at all

Delicious fresh bread. We chose a Rye Soudough.
(Mum you would have loved it. I know how much you enjoy a good sourdough). the duty free items when a little voice called "Olivia!!". I looked around and saw my little Ballerina Laura Montana from my CDDC Tiny Tots class. She was very excited to see me after I had said goodbye to her the previous Saturday in my last class teaching. She told me she was practising her dancing at home.
During the flight I sat next to some amazing people. On the way to Singapore a nice young man in his late 20's gave me advice on long distance relationships. He and his girlfriend have been long distance for 5yrs between Singapore and Sydney. Sitting next to him almost felt like fate meeting someone who could give me first hand advice and support when I had just said goodbye to my Boyfriend McGee and was feeling very down.
On the flight from Helsinki to London I sat in between a Finnish couple. They work for a career advice company that tours internationally giving talks and seminar but they were both very artistic and eccentric. The woman who had a head full of tight blonde braids was a music teacher who played a huge variety of instruments, and the man used

Once I arrived in London but cousin William collected me from the airport. When I walked through the arrival gates I walked right past him. I had not seen him since I was 10, fourteen years ago! Gone was the sweet little blonde boy and here was a scruffy but very handsome William. He drove me for an hour on the motor way to my Auntie Janet's house talking rapidly the whole way. I learnt we shared similarities; we both want a family and we are both working jobs that don't earn us a mint but keep us happy and passionate about what we do and. He is a lovely guy and I can't wait to get to know him more when I stay with him and my other cousin Robyn on their houseboat in London. William drove to a small cafe to meet up with his Mum for a light lunch as they were worried that I would be hungry after flying, when in fact I felt very satisfied from the aeroplane food. After lunch we said goodbye to William who had to head off to work in London. Janet took me for a drive around the shops and forest land so I could get a feel for the area. We stopped at a little farm house that sold fresh produce to buy some
Random Findings:
1. LIV branded coffee creamer was served on Finnair
2. Mum's nagging about buying a neck pillow paid off.
