Libertad:

Libertad relaunched on Tuesday 18th March after her refit. In preparation for our Atlantic cruise this year we have removed and inspected the rudder and quadrant, fitted Hydrovane self steering and installed extra fresh water tank capacity. Libertad has been surveyed and the rig checked to ensure everything is okay. Now we are back in the water we hope to commence sea-trials for our downwind rig and hydrovane systems.

Crew information:

Leg 1. The crew for the first leg to La Corruna Spain are Paul Huntley(Skipper) Bob Jeffery (first Mate) Jake Howell and Martin Ward. We have one place available at this time.

Leg 2. La Corruna to Las Palmas Gran Canaria. Crew are Paul Huntley (Skipper) Bob Jeffery (first Mate) Jake Howell and Nick Edwards (from Bayona). Again, one berth available at this time.

Leg 3. Trans Atlantic West bound:ARC. Crew are Paul Huntley (skipper) Bob Jeffery (first mate) Dave Needham and Gary Mead.
Once again we have one berth available.

We will then be spending a relaxed few weeks cruising the Caribbean Islands from St Lucia to Tortola, B.V.I.s and returning to the U.K at the beginning of May 2009 via Bermuda and the Azores.

Our crew for the eastbound Atlantic (ARC Europe) are Paul Huntley (Skipper)Bob Jeffery (first mate) Guy Emery,and Mark Robinson. We can at this stage offer one additional berth for this leg. Information on the ARC (Atlantic Rally for Cruisers) 2008 can be found at www.worldcruising.com/arc/

Our intention is to sail from Sovereign Harbour Eastbourne on July 20th 2008.
