Pirate Ship
The harbor at Gweek. Or should I say, "harbour" as they spell it. :P Today we had a walk down to the harbor at Gweek, where I took a photo of a "pirate ship" for you, Blakie! Not really a pirate ship, but it had a nice skull and cross-bones flag. 😊 Later on we went down to have a look at St. Michael's Mount, although we didn't have enough time to go accross to it and take the tour. During high tide you have to take a ferry over to it and during low tide you can walk or wade accross as you can see people doing in the photo. We walked around Marazion and had a look in the shops. That evening we ate real English Fish and Chips in Porthleven, where the chip shop had a persian cat that lived there, she was so sweet - not something you'd see in the states, that's for sure. Animals are never allowed in stores here sadly, especially ones that sell food. But there are dogs and cats all over the place here! And there are signs in many shop windows that say either "well behaved dogs allowed" or "dogs on leads allowed". So pet friendly! I wish my pets were here!
