Jodrell Bank Observatory

The Jodrell Bank Visitors Centre
is open to the public and allows access to the site of the Radio Telescope - which is set in the heart of the Cheshire countryside. There is a cafe and gift shop but no access to the telescope itself which is a pity as this is the main attraction.
There is also an arboretum on the site which has many species of trees - but given the size of the telescope one would hope you would be able to see the wood for them.
