Bonjour mes amies, long time no post!
Time passes when you are having fun - himself and I will have been married for 40 years this October. Such a feat of endurance could not go unacknowledged - lets face it you get less for murder! Those that know us will confirm we are a happy, beloved couple who have never had a cross word and whose hearts still flutter at the sound of each others voices! ha ha arf arf
So another trip to our beloved France is about to begin, one with a difference as we are going for two months - on 1st May we will be traveling from Dover to Calais and then taking a leisurely 4 day drive down to the Haute Pyrenees to do a house sit for Alex and to look after her two bonny dogs for about 10 days.
Otherwise, our accommodation will be in our fabulous new tent called My Second Home (MSH) purchased from the lovely Samuel at Decathlon Lakeside in the cold, dark miserable days of February. He was very helpful and not fazed by two old fogies buying a tent for an adventure, and even erected the tent in store for us! Watch this space for photos - you will be truly amazed at the magnifique château qui sort d'un sac!
Follow our map to see our route and adventures - nous sommes très heureux.
Come with us on our blog and enjoy seeing us two lovebirds discover new terrains as we erect our tents with love and patience for each others foibles! Maybe this will be the first time we have a cross word! Gareth & Becky may have a comment about this after helping us do a practice erection today. tee hee.
More to follow - love to you all
Monsieur et Madame
