Lucerne

So here we are in beautiful Lucerne...absolutely beautiful settled beneath the Alps and beside a lake. Today was overcast so we didn’t see the mountains but they tell us we will tomorrow! We did a walking tour of the old historic town settled from 800 AD. Our guide was a lovely lady who slowed the pace just enough that we all could keep up. Yesterday we arrived about 10am Swiss time which would be 4am our time. Dale had been unable to sleep on the plane so he was very tired. We went for a short walk and found breakfast and thankfully got into our room about 1 pm so he could sleep. We met our friends from Boston for a lovely dinner and then we all called it a night. Tomorrow we have a cable car adventure up a mountain and then at 4 pm will join our ship. I’m just getting used to this site so I hope I can post the photos!
