ok so at the lake lodge hoslte and we have been having an amazing time!!


we met 2 guys from denmark who are geeks like us....really great guys! they brought a car and invited us along to go with them to the shynege platte..(beautiful view) a cog train that goes up a mountain just a little south of innsbruck and boy the views were amazing!!!!! all the mountains to the south laid out before you....amazing..then we went the next day to the st. beatus caves....a legitimate pilgrimage site..where a irish priest drove out a dragon in the caves and converted the local pagan population in the 6th centure to christianity......it was awesome..walking through the caves..the walk up was awesome...back and forth over bridgesup asteep cliff side through the waterfall the goes through the cave.

we went for a hike after dinner to try and find a waterfall..which was an hour adn a half hike away from the hostle..but we only thoguht it was a half hour hike..oh well...tried finding a few gecaches along the way but no go...too hard....maybe later we will try again at one that is suposed to be by a road.

anyway its been great hanging with these guys....its so awesome to make new friends especially ones that are into the same things as you....geek stuff.....aurin does some medieval recreation.....and theire both just really great, smart funny and awesome people..and so nice to invite us along and hang out with us.....

we have been sharing dinners as well..so we both pitched in and i cooked tandoori chicken last night for us all.....robert (i think thats the other one im so bad at names..i will ask again today of course) went next door and bought some alpine cheese ...made right here!! it was awesome!!

anyway today were going to the H.R. GIGER museum about an hour away from here.....AWESOME!!! we didnt even know about it!!! its the biggest collection of his artwork anywhere..and its ina big castle in some great area of switzerland....awesome.....and we woulda missed it if not for these guys....thanks so much!!!! i only hope were as good a company....since we dont have much money im trying to do other things to make it even...like cook dinner..lucking thr museum is affordable....we will pack lunches today to help save on cost.........awesome times!!!

tomorrow gimmelwald..but i will really miss our new friends....maybe they will come along and have a look at the place...take the cable car ride up to it....who knows!
