Interlaken

Interlaken is a village between two huge lakes, surrounded by majestic snow covered mountains. The train trip is very picturesque, swiss chalets dotted throughout the mountains, the train follows the lake into Interlaken. We stayed in a backpackers hotel which was very friendly and great value. We took a bus to the lake for lunch, I would love to come here in Summer when all the boats are out. We caught another bus up the mountains to a pretty village called Beatenberg which has amaging views down to Lake Thun and of the mountains of Jungfrau.
