Lucerne
Lucerne at night.. Pretty fantastic So Lucerne was awesome. One of the prettiest cities that we have seen so far. Expensive though. We had a lot of fun there. The first day we were there we took a day trip up to the Alps which was amazing. We hiked up to the highest point of Mt. Palatus... I am probably spelling that wrong. It was really cool, we got to watch about a dozen hang gliders jump of of the mountain. Crazy stuff right there, I know i would never ever be able to do that. The 2nd day we took another day trip to Bern. We didnt find much to do but it was nice walking around because the city was really pretty. They had this bear pit in the middle of the city which was also pretty cool. ON the third day we took yet another day trip to Zurich.. Pretty much only to see a zoo.. Haha Tara was having a bad day and thought it would make her feel better... It did. It was a huge really cool zoo. The next day we hopped on train to Milan.

The Alps
From the ferry ride to the Alps pretty. Not that much to do either because I think most people come here to shop. I guess its the fashion capital of the world. It shows too. Everyone here is so nicely dressed. Its a change from most of the cities that we have been to. Went and saw the Duomo cathedral... It is masssssive. We went up about 50000000000000 stairs to the roof which was really cool. You could see a lot of th city from up there. We also went into a museum today and saw Michelangelos last piece, Tara really enjoyed that one. Now she is seeing the Last Supper. I couldnt go because you had to have reservations and there was only one opening left. no biggie though. I dont mind. So that is lucerne and Milan... tomorrow we take a train to florence
