So...
here it all begins!
On the
28th of September we leave Sweden and our world around trip starts!!! with a visit in Thailand. Our flight goes to Bangkok. There we spend a couple of days shopping before we head up north to Chiang Mai.
In Chiang Mai Christopher wants to take a basic thai massage course and I, Frederica, wanna see if I can find a nice teacher for learning silverwork. I would like to learn how to make fittings for stones in rings, necklaces and bracelets. Then Julian and I will be exploring the city while Cs in school, hopefully we find some cool place to hang out and maybe meet some thai playmates! 😊
We have 10 weeks in Thailand so after maybe 3 or 4 weeks in the north we wanna split the remaining time on the east n west coast islands. For Julians sake we wanna have at least some weeks in each location so he can have time to adjust and also enjoy this journey.
On the
4th of December we arrive in Chris' hometown Melbourne, Australia. There we will stay with family and friends until the visa runs out for me and J in the beginning of March 2007. We also wanna see a bit of the country and I hope to meet a jumping kangaroo, sweet koala and visit my friends, the penguins, to make the Oz visit complete!
From here we have tickets to Auckland, New Zeeland and then to Los Angeles. From LA we are travelling by land or air down to Mexico and "home sweet home" Guatemala. Dates are to early to put out, we just hope to arrive in Guatemala before the rainyseason starts in May 2007...

Ika my dear. How are things? Everything ok? Did the flight go ok with little Julian? Must have been tough on him, being soooo little... But i know you are good taking care of people, so his trip will be a king worthy... ;o) Really sad we didnt have chance to meet up this summer. Hope you will come back next year so we can meet up then. What are your plans anyway after the trip? Where are you going to settle down? Take care of ye. Big hug
