"She lived on the wrong side of the river, in a disused dairy store" Most non-Swedes who read this have probably never heard of the town Trollhättan. It is a medium sized city, population of about 60,000, in the southwest of Sweden. Trollhättan may not be famous or spectacular. But there are several things there that we found interesting and that's why we went there this summer. One of the things that draw us there was actually a dairy store that doesn't even exist anymore. Hi everyone, I've been neglecting you all! I'm so sorry lol things have just been so crazy busy that ive not had time or been too tired etc etc, but anways i'll catch you up to speed but it might take a while seeing as its been more than a month since my last entry :-p oopsie!!. Hey everyone Im sorry it's been a while I've been busy! So last time i spoke to you all I was heading out Bowling with all of the other Erasmus students and we also ended up playing pool afterwards. Bowling was going abysmally until I started bowling with my left hand lol I have a theory that I should be left handed because I'm ambidexterous so i can write with both hands and my handwriting with my right hand is awful! also when I was little I sucked my right thumb :-P and most people who suck their thumbs suck the opposite one from the one they write with. So Hey again :-) Where did i leave off last time? We had our first induction day on Wednesday (11th) sorting out all of he boring logistical stuff and on Thursday we had more meetings and sorted out our timetables so the classes i will be taking while im here are: Power Gender Ethnicity and other inequalities Intercultural Studies: Global english and online media discourses Education and School Practice Swedish for Beginners I also have to carry on completing the assignments for the Professional Practice unit from home so im going to be a busy bee lol. Had a few minor problems like some of my classes clash on the timetable but they're being sorted because obviously i cant be in two places at once as hard as i might try :-) Not much happened Friday ... read more

Hi Everyone! Well as promised this is my blog though you'll have to bear with me because ive not done this before lol :-P The last few days have been a bit of a roller coaster and everything is starting to blur together so i thought i would start before i forget things. currently we are in sweden, the sun is shining and we are building a new horse enclosure for Ilonas sister ninja. getting excited now all our equipment for our back packing trip is almost bought or stolen. 5 more weeks and we quit work!!!!!!!!! this week we get our tattoos for our trip, and our injections, most importantly the yellow fever jab for south america. end of november sees us travelling back to the uk in order to arrange a few last things and do a section of the coast to coast in order to test everything for New Zealand.
